Dear prospective students, welcome to the website of the University of Applied Psychology in Terezín. The long-term concept of the school and its development is based on scientific foundations and its own research activities. In addition to lectures and seminars, teaching also takes place in the form of workshops and project laboratories.
Academic freedom, critical thinking, ethics, and respect for oneself and others are among the fundamental values of our university. I myself am a psychologist and together with other colleagues, we ensure that you develop during your studies, gain a university qualification for successful practical application, and feel good with us. The school also includes a psychological counseling center, which is available to students.
Current students and graduates of VŠAPs appreciate both the high level and quality of teaching, as well as the personal approach. They often say “I’m not just a number at this school”. Former students regularly meet in the ALUMNI Club.
The internationality of the school is of particular importance, with dozens of bilateral agreements with foreign universities and colleges, with which teachers and students actively cooperate.
We organize international scientific conferences in the school premises every year, the output of which are joint indexed articles of our and foreign academics and published monographs.
The school publishes its own scientific journal Applied Psychology, included in the ERIH+ category, with articles in Czech, Slovak, and English.

Here you will find all the necessary information about the bachelor’s study program Personnel and Intercultural Management, for both daily and combined studies. You will find that applied psychology plays an important role in this study and connects the psychological essence of a large part of the subjects. You will meet highly qualified academic teachers and experts from practice who follow their lectures.
With them, you will learn how to apply interesting and significant theoretical knowledge in daily contact with people and in various professions.
In addition, VŠAPs provides attractive courses and long-term certified trainings in many areas of psychology under the name Academy in the Academic, as part of lifelong learning, for example:
Training in social communication, assertiveness, rhetoric and presentation, Power Coaching and Training in Rogers’ psychotherapy.
As part of the Third Age Academy, a cycle of lectures on the topic: Psychology for every day.
